Kevin Kostka, PT
Site Coordinator
Kevin
Kostka, is a physical therapist with OrthoTennessee. He received
bachelor’s degrees in psychology and rehabilitation science (Cum Laude)
from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC). He also received a
master’s degree and a doctorate in physical therapy from UTC. He is
a performance enhancement specialist and a member of the American Society
of Shoulder and Elbow Therapists.
Kevin has been a physical therapist since 2003. He describes his role in the clinic as research focused and a specialist in sport and shoulder rehabilitation.
“I became a physical therapist because of my involvement as a high school athlete and I was interested in the medical field,” Kevin says. “People told me it was too hard to get into physical therapy school so it pushed me to try.”
Kevin says what he most enjoys about his work is seeing his patients progress from the initial evaluation to the moment of returning to sports or to work.
In his spare time he enjoys playing basketball, flag football, working out and spending time with his family.

Thomas is an occupational therapist with OrthoTennessee. She

in occupational therapy with a concentration in neuro rehabilitation from
Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, University of Bombay.
Susan has been a physical therapist since 1993. She describes her role in the clinic as helping patients to regain their physical function and skills to a level comparable to previous function.
“I became an occupational therapist because I wanted to work with people and wanted to see people get better,” Susan says. “What I enjoy most about my work is the interaction with patients and seeing them get better.”
Susan is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Tennessee Occupational Therapy Association.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking reading, listening to music, and collecting coins and stamps.
