Michael L. Campbell, M.D.

Michael L. Campbell, M.D. was raised in Columbia, South Carolina. He obtained his undergraduate education at The Citadel in Charleston, SC. In 1992 he received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Campbell then trained in the Orthopaedic Residency Program at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. He completed this training in 1997. Following residency he had the pleasure of serving as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in the military for four years. He was based at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona. In October of 2001, Dr. Campbell joined Maryville Orthopaedic Clinic.

Dr. Campbell will be the team physician for Alcoa High School.

He and his wife Mary Lou reside in Maryville. They have two children, a son and a daughter. Some of his personal interest includes golf, running, landscaping, hiking and traveling.
